Dear John, My heart breaks for you as you have lost the love of your life. Having been down this road more than once, I know being the primary caregiver during a terminal illness and the grieving process that follows is so very hard. I admired Linda greatly both as an administrator and for her philanthropic work in retirement. She was a part of so many positive projects to help our Downey students over the years. I hope it brings you some measure of comfort to know she was loved by many. Perhaps your work on The Personnel Commission will be a help as you make your way forward.
